More than once we have focused on interiors that harmoniously mix styles and where pieces and objects of different origins coexist.
It is here that one finds personality and originality and there is no lack of ideas from which to take inspiration.
In the process of renovating this two-family dwelling near Barcelona, the designer chose to create more spacious and airy spaces, full of natural light, favoring family activities.
The lower floor, which integrates the common areas, has a large living room, with few pieces but well-chosen. But it is the kitchen, independent, that captures the attention because it gains visual depth through the sliding windows that, once opened, integrate it into the garden. The external area, in fact, is projected as an extension of the kitchen, from which it expands visually. To make it more welcoming and to use it several months a year, not only in summer, it is partially protected by a pergola with a glass roof, which incorporates vertical roller blinds.
The kitchen furniture and the multifunctional headboard of the bedroom are the most visible face of a careful and focused interior design project, which blends quality and functionality.
But the strength of this house is precisely the mix of flavors: wide with color and the mix & match of styles that some call eclectic. The combinations of neutral tones, modern furnishings, vintage pieces, Nordic design elements, accents of color are a relaxing and successful mix of different styles, as in the new trends of recent years.
